☁️With the departing Nor'easter, light showers taper off after midnight tonight, however overcast skies linger for one more day. Dry weather returns tomorrow through Thursday with high temps trending above normal🌡️ before the next chance of showers arrives Friday.

[356 PM Radar update] Bands of rain will continue to track from southeast to northwest around the periphery of a Nor'easter centered over southern NJ. This will result in occasional rain along with some dry periods in between the rest of this afternoon into this evening.

A.M periods of rain but we should see breaks of dry time this P.M. Also expect breezy winds through early P.M with gusts up to 30-40mph, esp south/east of Albany. Add'l rain showers return overnight into Monday, keeping cloudy and dreary conditions around.

Wind Advisory expanded to now include eastern Ulster, Dutchess, Berkshire and Litchfield Counties through Sunday morning. Northerly wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected within the advisory area, with 30 to 40 mph gusts in the eastern Catskills, Capital Region, northern/central Taconics, northern mid Hudson Valley and southern VT.

Here's a look at the forecast through next Wednesday! After a dry and sunny week, the threat for showers returns south and east of the Capital Region tonight, as temperatures will be near seasonal normals.

Intermittent showers increase on the weekend from a Nor'easter and linger into Monday, with temperatures still running slightly below normal. Drier weather returns Tuesday, with highs reaching back into the 70s by midweek in some locations.
