We're not out of the woods with the heat and humidity just yet, but a little relief is on the horizon! After a cold front passes through the region on Sunday, we can expect dew points to drop into the 60s and upper 50s across eastern New York and western New England through mid-week, giving us a nice break from the muggy conditions.

Warm & humid again today with isolated to scattered late afternoon/evening showers & thunderstorms developing. Some thunderstorms will contain gusty winds & heavy downpours. Highs mainly in the 80s, though will feel like the mid/upper 90s across portions of the mid-Hudson Valley and Litchfield County in NW CT due to the high humidity levels.

Humid conditions are expected throughout this week across eastern New York and western New England, with dew points reaching into the low-to-mid 70s by the end of the week. Paired with high temperatures in the 80s, many locations across the region can expect heat indices ("feels-like" temperatures) in the 90s, particularly on Thursday and Friday!
