12 Lead EKG transmissions - STEMI activations.

We are asking that you transmit 12-leads through Pulsara instead of Lifenet. That said, we strongly encourage you all to reach out to your cardiac monitor rep as 12-lead integration into Pulsara is now available on all Lifepack (15s & 35s), Phillips, and Zoll monitors. Sending a clean 12-Lead via Pulsara will greatly improve flow, offloading, and patient outcomes overall, but particularly in STEMI cases.

Still no blood on ground ambulances in NY. ALMOST 2 YEARS HAVE PASSED.

New York enacted legislation (Senate Bill S.6226-A / Assembly Bill A.5789-A) in September 2024 to allow ground ambulances to carry, store, and administer blood products. However, as of mid-2026, the State Department of Health is still finalizing the specific regulations needed to implement the law, meaning crews cannot yet legally administer blood in the field.
