As our rollout of Infinite Campus continues, we have now sent Parent Portal login or account creation information to all primary guardians with a valid email address on file.

If you are a parent or guardian, we encourage you to make use of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This portal can be used to track your child’s academic progress throughout the year and update your phone and email contact information as needed.

Infinite Campus is our new student information management system allowing students, families and staff to access information on schedules, attendance, assignments and more.

Infinite Campus has replaced SchoolTool as of the 2026-27 school year.

Our third TA hiring event of the summer is this Thursday from 1-3 p.m.!

Interested in becoming a teaching assistant (TA) in our schools? Stop by one of our upcoming drop-in events!

Becoming a TA is a great entry into the world of education, and these events will provide the opportunity to meet with district representatives and learn about compensation, benefits, job responsibilities, certification and more.

Full-time certified TAs receive excellent health care benefits, are enrolled in the New York State Teachers' Retirement System, and follow the 10-month school calendar with opportunities for advancement and additional work.

No certification? No problem! We are happy to work with qualified candidates to help you obtain the required certifications.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a current resume, as job offers may be made on the spot!

From classical ballet and jazz to hip hop and salsa, our Summer Arts dance students learned it all!

Their newly-learned skills were showcased on Wednesday during a recital for family and friends.

Miss Donna’s ensembles ALWAYS bring smiles to the faces of all who watch them because her sessions teach joy and confidence alongside steps and technique.

Our Pre-K students are getting ready for the giant leap into kindergarten with Jump Start, a 4-week, hands-on summer program designed to build big confidence and bright minds.

Through fun, interactive learning and social-emotional growth, Jump Start helps our future kindergarteners feel comfortable, excited, and ready for day one in September!

The City School District of Albany’s summer programming for middle schoolers builds confidence in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Students in grades 6-8 are strengthening academics, as well as learning new skills, through individual and group work through Aug. 7 at William S. Hackett Middle School.

From a super hero research and writing assignment to a weather and climate project, attendees are getting ready to succeed AND having classroom fun!

Albany High School's Class of 2026 has already hit the ground running!

Congrats to recent grads Melissa Richardson and Sadieonna Legrone on earning this wonderful opportunity!

It is always encouraging to see young people choosing to spend their summer learning how local government works.

I had the pleasure of meeting these two interns at City Hall and hearing about their experiences so far.

Programs like this help build civic understanding, encourage public service, and give the next generation a firsthand look at how government serves our community every day.

Thank you both for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn. I hope this experience inspires you to stay engaged and continue making a difference in your communities.
