🏘️ Last night, our 1st & 6th Ward Community Conversations looked a little different.

We spent time out in the neighborhood connecting with residents, inviting neighbors to join the conversation, and gathering feedback about what people love about the community, what they'd like to see improved, and how we can continue making the 1st & 6th Wards a safer, stronger place for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts and helped make the evening meaningful.

🎈We held another meaningful evening at this month’s Franklin Park Community Conversations. These gatherings continue to remind us how important it is for neighbors to come together, ask questions, share concerns, and stay connected to what’s happening in our city.

Much of the conversation centered around safety in Allentown, especially regarding speeding, traffic concerns, and recent incidents impacting neighborhoods across the city. We were grateful to have Mayor Matt Tuerk join us to help answer questions and provide clarity on some of these issues.

This is why these conversations matter. They create space for neighbors, city leaders, and community members to come together, listen, and work toward solutions collectively.

We hope you’ll join us for our next gathering on June 18th right here in Franklin Park. 🗓
