e Rotary Club of Altamonte Springs have dedicated themselves to those goals and give of their time to make our community a better place to live and work. In our effort to live up to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, Club members actively participate in numerous community service and fund-raising projects throughout the year that benefit local charitable organizations and schools. The Club has funded international projects such as the installation of clean water facilities in impoverished villages in India. But perhaps most importantly, the Club has also contributed to the hundreds of millions of dollars that Rotary clubs all over the globe have raised in its long-term goal to permanently eradicate the disease of Polio.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: THURSDAY, April 2nd to hear from our fabulous speaker, Heather Subbert. Heather is the Founder and Executive Director of Kairos Adventures; a Central Florida nonprofit she launched in Sanford to serve adults with varying abilities. Her organization empowers individuals—referred to as "artists"—to discover their God-given potential through creative arts like drama, dance, and culinary classes. Since its founding, Kairos Adventures has grown from 16 to 91 artists and now operates three locations, including one in Altamonte Springs, with a mission to ensure everyone has a community where they are included, seen, and celebrated.
