The next meeting of the Tokusatsu Club is Tuesday, June 23 at 6pm! Learn about, watch, and discuss Japanese Tokusatsu films and television shows like Ultraman, Godzilla, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and more. Recommended for ages 15+.

You do not have to have attended previous club meetings to attend this one! Tokusatsu Club meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday. This month, the club will be screening the first four episodes of "Kamen Rider Fourze."

The next meeting of the Creative Writing Club is this Saturday, June 20 at 2:30pm. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or a someone who is just picking up the pen, find inspiration and community with your fellow writers!

Every meeting includes exercises or activities to help get the creativity flowing. The Creative Writing Club is for adults and teens, and is recommended for ages 15+. You do not have to have attended a previous meeting to attend this one. The club meets monthly on the third Saturday.

There are still a few spaces left for the afternoon session of our June Adult Craft: Felt Dino Plush on Thursday, June 18 at 2:30pm! All supplies, including a variety of fabric colors, will be provided for attendees to make their choice of a small Stegosaurus or Diplodocus felt plush, using basic hand-sewing techniques. Please note that this craft will involve the use of a sewing needle.

Registration is required. Please register for only one session per person. Register on our online calendar at amherstpubliclibrary.org or call the library at 440-988-4230.

This craft program is intended for adults and is suitable for ages 13+. Minors under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The evening session of this craft, scheduled for Monday, June 15 at 6:30pm, is currently full but does have waitlist spots available.
