The Department of Natural Resources has completed our initial review of these BLM-Alaska decisions for waterways the State has long believed are navigable. We find the Bureau of Land Management - Alaska Recordable Disclaimers of Interest announcement to be encouraging, and hope this is the basis for a more fruitful partnership with as we continue to make progress together towards Unlocking Alaska.

The Bureau of Land Management today issued navigability decisions for four State of Alaska Recordable Disclaimers of Interest applications the Delta-Tangle River System and Tangle Lakes System, the West Fork Dennison Fork and Dennison Fork of the Fortymile River System, the Kwethluk River, and the G...

Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives during the bombing of Dutch Harbor on June 3 and 4, 1942.

Dutch Harbor Remembrance Day honors the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who defended Alaska during one of the only enemy attacks on American soil during World War II. Their legacy reminds us of the vital role Alaska has played in our nation's security and freedom.

We remember the fallen, honor the survivors, and remain grateful for all who have served our state and country.
