Last week, the AHD leadership team spent the afternoon picking up trash as part of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce’s Citywide Clean Up! We had a great time walking along the Chester Creek Trail and giving back to the Anchorage community. Keeping our public spaces clean keeps pollutants out of our water and soil and improves the health of people and wildlife.

🧘‍♀️🚲 Whew! Bike Month has been so much fun!

We have one more planned event tonight at REI. Be sure to stop by for this FREE Yoga for Cyclists class. Space is limited to about 25 people, so come early!

Grab your yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing, and get ready to stretch and recharge after a great month of riding.

See you there and hopefully out on the trails too! 🚴

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Bike to Work Day so incredible!

Thank you to all the businesses, organizations, and individuals who hosted treat stations along the way, your support means so much to the cycling community and helps make the day extra special. Thank you to every rider who showed up and participated! We loved seeing so many people out on two wheels (or sometimes 1 or 3.) We hope this inspires even more rides year-round whether you’re commuting to work, running errands, or just meeting up with friends.
Keep riding, stay safe, and we’ll see you out there! 🚲

🚲✨ We were so excited to see so much enthusiasm at our morning Bike to Work Day treat station! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and celebrate with us.

We’ll be open again for the afternoon shift from 4–6 PM and restocked with Skida hats, Bike to Work Day logo items, plus more snacks and swag!

We hope to see you again later today and have a safe and happy ride home. Happy Bike to Work Day!!! 🚴‍♀️🎉

We’ve been waiting all year for this day, and it’s finally time to ride! Get your bike ready for your commute, pack a goodie bag, and get excited to check out all the amazing treat stations around Anchorage, including Eagle River and Girdwood!
