Last week, the Judicial Council completed four days of meetings during which it held public hearings and interviewed applicants for the Alaska Court of Appeals, Kotzebue Superior Court, Anchorage Superior Court, and Anchorage District Court vacancies. The Council extends its sincere thanks to all who applied.

Because the Council nominated only one applicant for the Kotzebue Superior Court vacancy, no nominees were submitted to the governor, and the Council will re-advertise that position.
