🦋🧡 What a beautiful day celebrating one of nature’s greatest journeys!

Our 13th annual Monarch Migration Festival brought our community together at the Leslie Science & Nature Center to celebrate the incredible journey of the monarch butterfly.

From getting up close with animals, exploring pollinator conservation, connecting with local conservation organizations, enjoying face painting, and taking part in hands-on activities, there was so much to discover! 🙌

One of the most special moments was seeing monarchs take flight as part of our community science efforts. By participating, families helped support monarch conservation and research while learning more about the habitats these incredible pollinators depend on.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, shared their expertise, and helped make this celebration of monarchs and our natural world so memorable.

🎃 Want to keep the discovery going? Join us at the Leslie Science & Nature Center on October 24 at Animal Haunts — 4-6:30pm OR 6:30-8:30pm
