Bulldog Families,
Last week was a great end to the school year. We started the week celebrating Nurse Nikki’s 30 years of service to our community. Our Music Concert and Art Festival was a hit. Thank you to Mrs. Rivera, Mr. Payton and Dr. Yancey for all of the work they have done preparing our students to show off their talents. Several classrooms celebrated meeting their class iReady Reading and Math Goals. Coach Smith prepared a fun field day for our students! Miss Amy took preschool students on a fun walking field trip. We finished the week cheering our track team on to state.
Thank you for allowing me the gift of serving your children these last two years. You all have much to be proud of. Appleton City truly has fantastic kids. Thank you to the elementary team for everything that you pour into our students every single day. Thank you to Miss Malia for keeping all of us on track every single day.
As a sweet friend recently reminded me, this is not good bye, just a change in title – from Mrs. Bauer to life long friend of Appleton City. I’m sure that I will see many of you on the weekends, at the Car Show, at games, at special events or at one of our local restaurants!

Congratulations to Huxley Frost for winning Sheriff Hilty’s New K-9 Name Contest for our school! Huxley received a gift card as well. All of the winning names will be considered for the final name of the new K-9!
