🚑🧠 Recognizing Excellence in Stroke Care 🧠🚑
The Arcadia Fire Department is honored to have received the Golden Brain Award for excellence in prehospital stroke care. Presented by the leadership and Emergency Department team at USC Arcadia Hospital on behalf of the Los Angeles County EMS Agency, the award was accepted by EMS Battalion Chief Jacob Sutton on behalf of the department.
In addition to the department recognition, the following members are individually recognized for their contributions to exceptional stroke patient care:
Firefighter/Paramedics: Patrick Crook, Erik Johnson, Re*****on Conatser, Nik Pheng, and James Gauger
Fire Engineers: Chris Klemm and Robert Clark IV
Fire Captains: Richard Harvey, George Couts, and Travis Ring
Ambulance Operators: Leonard Zamora, Brandon Abboud, and Derek Colon
This recognition reflects the dedication of our personnel and the strong partnership between the Arcadia Fire Department and USC Arcadia Hospital. Every stroke emergency requires rapid assessment, seamless coordination, and a shared commitment to providing patients with the best possible chance for recovery.
