Today, Arcadia firefighters completed the Murph workout in honor of Lt. Michael P. Murphy and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

The Murph consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run. A workout rooted in grit, sacrifice, and remembrance.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a time to reflect, honor, and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our freedoms. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice.
