Arcadia Unified School District is proud to invite you to our District Showcase, a special evening dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary talents of our students and the strength of our performing arts programs across all grade levels!

Join us next Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. for a night filled with exciting student performances and a district update from Superintendent Dr. David Vannasdall and Board of Education President Leigh Chavez on Arcadia Unified’s vision, facilities, and Measure AS!

This event is free and open to the community. We hope to see you there!

All the storms earlier this week made for an incredibly crisp and clear morning—perfect for the Arcadia Festival of Bands parade!

It’s so nice to be able to see all of our marching bands and color guards perform one after another. Thank you to all of the volunteers who make this day possible every single year!

I am so honored and grateful for the amazing friends who are a part of and are supporters of the Arcadia Parks Foundation!

This week, we celebrated the grand reopening of Newcastle Park and it was so wonderful to see so many people and families enjoying the amenities that we worked so hard to support, including the new Monarch Butterfly Garden and the community brick entryway. The brick campaign, by the way, allowed to donate $8,500 back to the city to directly support parks facilities for all to enjoy!

Thanks again to the board and to everyone who supported the foundation and the brick campaign! If you still want a brick, it’s not too late—go to ArcadiaParks.org to get one!
