Good evening CC Bell Families,

This is Principal Fusco calling with some information about the start of the school year 2026/27. We have truly missed our Bell Bears and look forward to having everyone back on campus together.
This is the first parent/guardian notification that I have sent out for this new school year. Parents/Guardians – please know that I send this information simultaneously with an audio call; email; and as a post on our school page. The school Thrillshare communication system translates the message in your chosen home language based on the information within the NCSIS Infinite Campus data system. If you are new parent/or guardian or would like some “refresher” information on the Buncombe County School system’s digital platforms please visit: https://www.buncombeschools.org/page/parent-university. *Note – NCSIS/Infinite Campus parent portal goes live on 8/21/26 for our school. As a general practice, beginning Sunday (8/23), I will send out the parent/guardian weekly bulletin on this platform every Sunday night between 6-7PM.

*The Meet the Teacher will take place on Friday, August 21st. This school year we are doing something a different by having the opening program in the gym at 7:30AM to include a welcome back and the Annual Title I Program Presentation. The Meet the Teacher is a drop in event between 8-10AM. Please bring your student during this time; connect with their classroom teacher for the school year; and settle into the classroom. This is indeed the right time to bring “all of the things” with you to settle in your child into their new classroom for the school year.

*Last evening we mailed “Good News from School” blue cards with this information as well as the teacher assignment for the school year to our school families. The students can start the classic walk to the mail to check for this information with great anticipation for the school year ahead. What an exciting time!
This Saturday, August 15th from 8-11AM we can use some help. Our school campus is in good condition but let’s take it to the next level of great condition for the return to school for the students and staff. For more information and to sign click below for the Signup Genius:

We have 2 full time Instructional Assistant positions and driving a bus is required with both of these positions.
