A huge THANK YOU to The Little Gym for their continued support of Caring For Children! ๐Ÿ’™

We are so grateful for their generosity and commitment to helping children and families in our community. Their recent donation of much-needed paper goods, along with a generous financial contribution to support our programs and the children we serve, will make a meaningful impact.

Community partnerships like this make a real difference. Your kindness helps us ensure that children in foster care have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Thank you, for being such an incredible community partner and for helping us create brighter futures for local children and families. We are truly grateful! ๐ŸŒŸ

May is Foster Care Awareness Month!

Every young person deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued, and foster parents play a life-changing role by providing stability, encouragement, and hope during difficult times.

This month, Caring for Children recognizes the strength, resilience, and courage of children and teens in foster care across Western North Carolina.
You can make a difference. Whether through fostering, volunteering, mentoring, or simply helping spread awareness, your support helps create brighter futures for children in our communities.

Together, we can help every child feel seen, supported, and cared for. ๐Ÿ’™

This Motherโ€™s Day, Caring for Children celebrates every person who shows up with love, patience, and care for a child in need. ๐Ÿ’™

Foster parents, relatives, mentors, guardians, and supportive adults all help create the safety and belonging children deserve. Your compassion changes lives in ways both big and small.

Today, we honor the many forms that nurturing and family can take. Thank you for being a source of comfort, encouragement, and hope.

๐Ÿ’™ Wearing Blue for Our Kids ๐Ÿ’™

Today, on National Foster Care Day (May 5, 2026), we proudly wore blue to stand in solidarity with the more than 400,000 children in foster care across the U.S.

This day is about raising awareness, honoring the resilience of foster youth, and recognizing the unwavering dedication of foster parents, social workers, and advocates who show up every day for children and families.

Together, weโ€™re shining a light on the importance of safety, stability, and hope for every child.

Thank you to our incredible team and our AMAZING foster parents for continuing to lead with compassion and commitment, today and every day. ๐Ÿ’™

April is recognized as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to renew our commitment to protecting children and strengthening families by raising awareness, building community support, and promoting evidence-based prevention strategies. This month reminds us that every child deserves safety, stability, and opportunity to thrive. Prevention begins with awareness, but it grows through action by supporting caregivers, fostering resilience, and creating environments where children are nurtured and protected. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and our entire community ๐Ÿ’™

Prevention starts with support ๐Ÿซถ
Child Abuse Prevention Month is a reminder that prevention is not just about awareness, it is about making sure families have support, connection, and resources when they need them most. When communities invest in families early, children are safer.
