Ashland Senior Center

Ashland Senior Center The Senior Center serves as a focal point for all seniors (age 60+) in the town of Ashland, Ma., as well as a resource for their families.

The purpose of COA/Senior Center is to provide a variety of services and activities that promote the independent well-being of seniors, while maintaining their dignity. Our focus includes education, nutrition,preventive health care, physical fitness, recreation, creative arts, advocacy, support sevices and resource information.

The Friends of the Ashland Council on Aging will be participating in Ashland After Dark in front of Santander Bank to raise funds in support of programs at the Council on Aging. We support various initiatives, including meal subsidies, Parkinson Boxing, educational programs, holiday gatherings, and entertainment events. Your support in our fundraising efforts is greatly appreciated!

PLEASE NOTE: COMMUNITY CENTER CLOSES AT 3:30

The Town will be opening two air-conditioned cooling centers
at the following locations today,July 14th, to cool down if needed:

The Ashland Community Center, 162 West Union Street:
- Tuesday, July 14th, 8AM - 4PM
The Ashland Public Library, 66 Front Street:
- Tuesday, July 14th, 10AM - 8PM

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
