During an updated master plan process commissioned by the city of Atlanta Bureau of Park

s, Recreation and Cultural Affairs this group realized that the impetus to implement the new plan would come only from concerned citizens. The Conservancy was formed and now works to raise funds to carry out its mission and provide an enjoyable greenspace for families, visitors and residents of nearby neighborhoods.

📅 🌞 💦 Just a reminder that the Grant Park Pool will be closed June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday. Regular pool hours are Wednesday through Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The pool will also be closed July 4, for Independence day. Check City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation for more information.
