❤ Celebrating Women’s Equality Day

Today, Atlanta ISD recognizes Women’s Equality Day, commemorating the adoption of the 19th Amendment and celebrating the progress women have made in education, leadership, the workplace, and communities across our nation.

We’re especially proud of the women throughout Atlanta ISD who lead, teach, inspire, encourage, and make a difference in the lives of our students each day.

Today we celebrate their voices, their accomplishments, and the generations of women who continue to open doors for those who follow. ❤

❤️🐰 Community support makes a difference!

The Atlanta ISD Family Engagement Department would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the businesses, organizations, families, and staff members who helped make this year’s Back-to-School School Supply Giveaway possible.

Because of their generosity, Family Engagement was able to provide 292 packets of back-to-school supplies and numerous clothing items!

A special thank you to Lyte Fiber Internet, Atlanta Walmart, Genesis PrimeCare, Atlanta Head Start, Alisha Harrison with Maximus Health Insurance STAR Program, United Way, Red River Credit Union, State Bank and the many Atlanta ISD families and staff members who donated clothing.

Every backpack, school supply, clothing donation, and contribution helped someone in our school community start the year a little more prepared. We are grateful to have so many people and organizations willing to step up when our students, families, and staff need them. ❤️
