Nelson County Fire & Rescue Committed to Excellence, we are neighbors serving neighbors since 1966! Nelson County Fire & Rescue is a combination fire and emergency services agency.

We serve several communities near Bardstown, KY such as Botland, Coxs Creek, Deatsville, Rooster Run and others. We have approximately 50 members and respond to 300-350 incidents annually. We have 4 fire stations - Station #81 (Central), Station #82 (Coxs Creek), Station #83 (Rooster Run) & Station #84 (Botland). Our apparatus consist of 4 Class A Fire Engines, 3 Tankers, 1 Ladder Truck, 2 Brush Units, 1 Utility Vehicle, and 2 Command vehicles.

WOW — what an incredible day!

We want to send out a huge THANK YOU to our amazing community for coming out and supporting our Crusade for Children fundraiser today. Because of your generosity and support, we are proud to announce that we raised $5,651 for Crusade for Children!

Whether you stopped by for lunch, attended the event, donated, volunteered, or simply shared our posts and helped spread the word thank you. The support this community continues to show our fire department year after year truly means more than words can express.

We would also like to recognize all of our Nelson County Fire members and Auxiliary members who worked so hard to make today such a success. Events like this take a tremendous amount of teamwork and dedication, and we could not be more proud of everyone involved.

Thank you all for supporting not only Crusade for Children, but also Nelson County Fire & Rescue throughout the entire year. We are honored to serve such an outstanding community!
