🚧 TREE TRIMMING ON OLD BLOOMFIELD PIKE 🚧

The City of Bardstown Public Works Department will be trimming trees along Old Bloomfield Pike between West Broadway Avenue and Bloomfield Road (US-62) on Monday and Tuesday, September 28–29.

During this work, motorists should expect Lane Closures and Flaggers in the road. Please use caution when traveling through the work area and, if possible, consider an alternative route such as Bloomfield Road (US-62).

🚧 ROAD PAVING NOTICE – CITY OF BARDSTOWN 🚧

Contractors for the City of Bardstown will be resurfacing the following streets starting next week (September 28):

• Cypress St
• Harriett Drive
• Morton Ave
• West Halstead
• Hurstland Drive
• East Halstead
• Save-A-Lot Frontage Road
• O'Finn Avenue
• Commerce Blvd
• River View Dr
• North View Dr
• Eastview Ave
• Eastview Drive
• Filatreau Lane Entrance
• Old Filiatreau Lane
• Parkway Drive

Residents who live on these streets are kindly asked not to park in the roadway while paving operations are underway. Please also use extra caution when driving through work areas and watch for paving crews and equipment.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve our City streets.

We’re working to make our sidewalks safer and more accessible! Precision Safe Sidewalks will be performing sidewalk repairs in the Cottage Grove Subdivision, starting Wednesday September 23rd and finishing up Thursday the 24th. Below is a list of the streets they will be working on:

Attention customers: A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for Water Customers in the Bourbon Downs subdivision and Virginia Avenue (above address number 2513) areas listed below:

Due to a water main break we advise all affected residents to boil water for at least 3 minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. This is a precautionary measure to ensure your safety.

We are actively working to resolve the issue and will lift the advisory as soon as water quality tests confirm the water is safe for normal use.

Water may appear milky due to air in the pipes as a result of the low pressure during the leak.
