Youth 4-H Fishing Derby is tomorrow at Rowe Lake next to the Batesville Community Center. Non-Members and Members welcome. 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with awards to follow! RSVP appreciated but not required!

District O' Rama Winners
19 of 24 Youth placed at District O'Rama last week. They went to sleep late, got up early and made it happen. Congratulations to all of them on a great job! Independence County has some great 4-H members and volunteers!

What a great start to the Independence County Fair! 🎡🍀

Yesterday, our 4-H members participated in the rabbit show and poultry showmanship for those in 4-H District O-Rama tomorrow. A special thank you to the judge and the Independence County Fair for allowing these exhibitors to compete earlier so they could also participate in District O-Rama.

We are proud of each of these young people for the hard work, dedication, and confidence they displayed.

The county fair is about so much more than ribbons and awards. It is an opportunity for youth to develop life skills, learn responsibility, and showcase the projects they have worked on throughout the year.

We are excited to celebrate our 4-H members all week long and will try to share photos and highlights from each day of the fair. Stay tuned for more fair week fun! 💚
