Beach Haven Public Library

Beach Haven Public Library The Beach Haven Public Library is a cultural gem on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The library was built in 1924. The interior hasn't changed much since then.

Established in the late 19th century, the library has a rich history that spans over a century. The Beach Haven Library was built as a library, not as a home, as some people believe. The land and building were donated by the Pharo family, Beach Haven's first residents. We have the most recent New York's Times best sellers books, participate in Inter-Library Loans, have a Children's section that in

cludes small tables and chairs and a meeting room with a fireplace and a large table. We offer our patrons a DVD collection, and the most updated computers and a color laser printer. We are wireless, so please feel free to bring your laptop! We pride ourselves with the relationship formed between the community and library staff. Therefore, we are able to provide informational lectures, book discussion groups, reading hours for young children and weekly knitting groups. Most requests for local organizations meetings are granted.
