Have you been thinking about becoming a CASA volunteer but worried about finding time for the training? We’ve got good news! Our volunteer training is now offered in a hybrid format, giving you more flexibility to complete your training around your schedule.

💻 Online training: Complete most of the training at times that are convenient for you.

👥 In-person training: Only 10 hours in person, instead of 30!

Our next training session begins October 1, 2026. Applications are due by September 11, 2026 to participate in this session

Some children grow up believing fear is normal. That shouting is just part of family life. That love has to be earned. That nobody is coming to protect them.

Childhood ends, but its impact often lasts a lifetime.

Early experiences of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, addiction, mental illness or other serious adversity can shape how a person thinks, feels, trusts, learns, forms relationships and copes with life for years to come.

Many adults are still living with the impact of a childhood they never had the chance to talk about.

Children do not need perfect parents. They need to feel safe, loved, protected and valued.

A safe childhood is not a privilege. It is the foundation for everything that follows.
