We are excited to share our art student creations with you - the Grand Opening of our "Art-in-the-Park" Project is this WED, AUG 19, 9-10am...this is an ongoing project throughout school year 2026-2027. We hope you join us on AUG 19 and/or stroll through the park this next year to see all the creations!

Thank you to the City of Bemidji Arts Commission (https://tinyurl.com/mr3zscvc) and the Parks & Trails (https://www.ci.bemidji.mn.us/parksandtrails) for their support and collaboration on this project!

We're beautifying the park with artful and whimsical tree stumps - from the June 2025 storm - that are the creations of our students...plus their art ideas generated from a collaboration of our Art & Ojibwe Language/Culture classes.

This project is made possible from the "Afterschool Community Learning Grant" awarded to Voyageurs from the MN Dept of Education for 2024-2027. More information about the grant can be found on each featured student page in the site shown below.

Thank you City of Bemidji, Minnesota, Government for the collaboration and partnership on this extraordinary art project! We are so proud of the beautiful artwork created by our VES students! Grand opening is on Wednesday, August 19th from 9- 10 a.m.

Exciting news! These beautiful art installations are finally opening! Please join Voyageurs Expeditionary School for their public grand opening Wednesday, August 19th from 9am-10am. Come see the artwork and enjoy some light refreshments!
