Electric Aggregation Update: Program Pause
Aggregation Program to Pause Mid-June - Participants Will Return to AEP Service
Bexley’s current wind-powered electric aggregation program with Dynegy is set to expire with the June meter read. Due to unpredictable energy markets and high prices the program will pause until more favorable rates can be secured. Enrolled households will return to standard electric service through American Electric Power after the June 2026 meter read. Households currently enrolled in the program can expect a letter soon with more details. The City will continue monitoring the market closely, with the goal of restarting the program as soon as pricing becomes favorable for residents.
