Bexley City School District

Bexley City School District Following our mission to Learn with Curiosity. Demonstrate Kindness. Embrace Equity. They have access to a wide variety of courses and extra-curricular programs.

Bexley’s neighborhood schools are the center of a stable, close knit community. Students benefit from the small class sizes that permit personal attention and foster academic excellence. A high level of community involvement characterizes the Bexley school system, which receives considerable support from the nonprofit Bexley Education Foundation. Financial ratings institutions praise Bexley’s soun

d financial operations, solid voter history and conservative fiscal management. Educating the “whole child” is a core value in Bexley, with the school district invested in programs that enhance the overall wellness of school community members. Unlike most public schools, Bexley has free, all-day kindergarten and foreign language instruction in the elementary grades. Certified professionals teach visual and performing arts throughout the K-12 curriculum. A high percentage of students are involved in extracurricular activities with 75 percent of high school and middle school students participating in at least one athletic activity. U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek magazines have recognized Bexley High School as one of the top public high schools in the country.

🎶📚 When passion meets learning, great things can happen! For a recent research project, Bexley High School junior Elena Diez explored the impact of Ticketmaster and Live Nation's dominance in the ticket industry and how it affects concertgoers. As a music fan who has experienced the challenges of purchasing tickets firsthand, Elena chose a topic that mattered to her.

In a remarkable twist, while she was working on her essay, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal from Live Nation and Ticketmaster, allowing a major antitrust lawsuit over ticket pricing to move forward in federal court.

Talk about studying a topic that's making headlines!

💙👏 Bexley High School students made an incredible impact through this year’s Bexley Against Blood Cancer campaign, raising more than $55,000 in less than three months to support blood cancer research and patient care initiatives.

Led by juniors Luke Helon, Julia Olson, and Mary Claire (MC) Thrush, nearly 30 students came together to organize fundraisers, community events, and outreach efforts in support of pediatric blood cancer research. From a documentary screening at the Drexel Theatre to bake sales and restaurant nights, the Bexley community showed tremendous support for the cause.

In addition to fundraising, students donated toys, coloring books, and care bags to patients and healthcare workers, demonstrating compassion, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference. We are so proud of these students and the impact they continue to make in our community and beyond!
