As Christmas approaches, we’re reminded that even in the darkest moments, a small light can change everything.
At Welcome House, we see that light every day—through families who arrive scared and unsure, but leave with hope, stability, and a place to call home.
So far this year, 16 families—31 children and 22 adults, have found safety at Welcome House. Families stay an average of 97 days, giving parents time to breathe, plan, and rebuild their lives.
One parent recently shared this with us:
“Before we got the call from Welcome House, we didn’t know what we were going to do. That phone call letting us know we had a room was truly an answered prayer.”
Because of the support of caring donors, families like Alicia’s, Collette’s, and Delton & Mary’s were able to move from homelessness into permanent housing—and into a future filled with hope.
We work hard to stretch every dollar, but it still takes $13,000 each month to keep our doors open for families with nowhere else to turn.
