As the City’s Engagement Officer, you’ll help connect residents, city staff, community partners, visitors and the Board of Commissioners with the information they need—while helping strengthen how the City communicates across its website, social media and other platforms.

💰 Hiring Range: $60,081.23 – $67,591.37
🕐 Status: Full-Time

Who’s ready for the next Tyler Parkway Extension drone flight?!

This flight starts at Montego Drive and continues north, highlighting the improvements made to the existing segment of Tyler Parkway. You’ll see the conversion to a two-way left-turn lane, new roundabouts at Country West Road and Valley Drive, and median improvements designed to improve safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.

This segment of the project is now substantially complete!

As the video continues north of Valley Drive, you’ll see active earthwork operations constructing the embankment across Tyler Coulee, followed by grading and graveling operations at the north end of the project near Cogburn Road.

Congratulations to Public Works Utility Operations Director Michael Mart, who was named to the Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC 20 Under 40: https://issuu.com/bismarckmandanchamberconnection/docs/september_2026.

Mart began his career with the City of Bismarck in 2012 as an engineering field technician, and progressed through the Engineering Department over the next decade.
