๐ถ๐ทMeet a Mary Nurse๐ท๐ถ
Taryn Neameyer was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, and currently lives in Billings, Montana. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana, where she played collegiate soccer and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020. She began her nursing career in the emergency department (ED) at Billings Clinic, where she earned her Certified Emergency Nurse certification. She also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses. She later worked as a travel nurse in the ED at St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND, and now works in the ED at Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital. There, she participates in practice counsel, a shared governance committee focused on improving patient care and applying evidence-based standards, and precepts new nurses on her unit. As an ED nurse, Taryn cares for a diverse range of patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, and myocardial infarction. She is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mary, expecting to graduate in May 2028. During her free time, Taryn enjoys exploring Montanaโs beautiful landscape with her friends and family through hiking, skiing, hunting, and rafting.
