NDDPI welcomed foodservice professionals and school administrators in Minot, Bismarck and Fargo for the 2026 Back to School Workshops!

The annual one-day workshops prepare them for the year ahead by highlighting new State and USDA regulations and policies. This year’s focus was on the transition to Infinite Campus, procurement, food safety, administrative reviews, and the Farm to School and Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Programs.

Attendees took part in trainings and hands on activities ensuring that they will be prepared for this year’s administrative review visits, completing production records and making healthy and delicious reimbursable meals for the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

We appreciate our foodservice workers and thank those who joined us for a full day of learning and collaboration!

NDDPI welcomed school & district leaders from across the state to Bismarck yesterday for our 2026 Back-to-School Drilldown, an annual one-day workshop that prepares leaders for the year ahead.📝

This year, we introduced a new venue, added support staff, and expanded the agenda to focus on improving readiness, strengthening consistency statewide, and supporting informed decision-making in North Dakota schools.

Throughout the day, attendees took part in presentations, demonstrations, and discussions covering Infinite Campus implementation, data processes, and updates to statewide programs. NDDPI staff also hosted on-site stations to guide attendees through key resources and answer questions in real time.

We thank every school and district leader who joined us for a productive, collaborative day. Together, we're strengthening leadership and supporting student success as we head into the 2026–27 school year!🎒
