A reminder that when ice fishing the maximum width a hole can be is 12 inches. As you can see from the photos taken at Wazee Lake we have had some issues with people drilling very large holes to fish from.

This is a safety hazard and a potentially very dangerous situation. Please contact our office if you witness anyone drilling holes this size at (715) 284-8475.

Please let us know if you hae any questions or possible information to help us make sure this does not happen again.

The map below shows areas where the County and State are conducing rehabilitation work on the ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trails. We apologize for the inconvenience this has cause for winter recreation. Unfortunately, the ground must be frozen to allow us to use the heavy equipment in these sections. The availability of contractors also dictates when this work can be done. If you are operating a snowmobile, please avoid these areas until adequate snowfall is received to facilitate travel.

Trails will remain open until Sunday at 6:00am, at which time snowmobile trails on the East and West side will close due to high temperatures. Temperatures will also be above the 28 degree mark, meaning ATV trails will not be open until temps go back down.
