The Wisconsin DNR says some safety changes include operators and passengers are now required to wear a seatbelt in a UTV and no towing objects bearing any person on a trail or route. Link in comments.

This Saturday is the Pace & Pedal at Wazee Lake County Park!

For the morning of May 16 Lake Wazee will be hosting our annual Pace & Pedal and 5K Color Run. On Saturday, May 16, admission to the park is waived for all participants and visitors.

Between the hours of 6am and 11am Sherwood will be the only access area to the lake. The main entrance to the park will be closed. Please use the entrance located at the intersection of Bauer and Brockway road through the haul gate. The event is expected to be done by approximately 11:00am.

Please follow signs and parking instructions from staff during this time.

We will be doing one final run through the trail system making sure they are ready to go. Please stay off the trails until Friday, May 15!

The wait is over—Jackson County motorcycle trails open May 15!

Before you hit the trails, make sure you’ve got your $20 motorcycle sticker—it’s required for all riders and helps support trail maintenance and improvements.
