The Annual Meeting of the General Council will be held on Saturday, September 19, at Kalahari Resorts in Lake Delton, WI.
Registration opens at 8:00 am with the posting of colors at 9:00 am by the Sanford White Eagle Post #556.
Enrollment will be on-site for Tribal IDs in the North Hallway. On Friday, 9/18/26, they are available from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm for adults and minors. On Saturday, 9/19/26, they are available from 8:00 am until quorum is met for adults only. The fee is currently waived for the ID cards. First come, first served, with Elders Prioritized.
Vendors will be located in the West Hallway. Departments will be in the North Hallway. The Department of Health will be in the East Hallway. Setup can begin around 3:00 pm on 9/18/26. No security will be provided for materials left out overnight. The Office of General Council will not reserve tables for departments or vendors.
Currently, the five proposed resolutions are as follows:
1. Remove District One Legislative Representative Paul Fox for Malfeasance.
2. Endorse the Ho-Chunk Nation and Its Members as Official Alpha and Beta Testers for the ccUlator App and to Recognize the Project as an Ongoing Initiative Associated with the Tribe and Its Members.
3. Authorize Michael Patrick Mullen, Jr. to Give a Short (20-Minute or Less) Presentation on the ccUlator App to the Ho-Chunk Nation General Council.
4. Set Virtual Participation in General Council Meetings as the Official Policy of the Ho-Chunk Nation.
5. Amend the Ho-Chunk Nation Constitution to Elect the General Council Advocate.
The Ho-Chunk Nation Election Board is also holding a Secretarial Election, with a deadline of September 19, 2026, to amend the Ho-Chunk Nation Constitution. The polls open at 8:00 am and close two hours after the meeting adjourns. They will be located in the African Ballroom.
