A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Richfield United Methodist Church for donating four pallets of personal hygiene and household essentials to VEAP last week!

We’re so grateful for your generosity and for the care you continue to show our community. These items are essential for the people who shop at our pantry, and because VEAP relies entirely on community donations to provide them, gifts like yours make a meaningful difference every day.

Thank you to everyone at Richfield UMC who helped organize, donate, and make this gift possible. We’re lucky to have you as part of the VEAP community! 🙌

💚 Volunteer Groups Shoutout!

A big thank you to the teams from Enbridge, the City of Richfield, and Thomson Reuters for recently joining us in the VEAP pantry!

These volunteers helped move retail-rescued food from behind the scenes to the pantry floor, making fresh food available for the people who shop with us. We’re grateful for their time, teamwork, and commitment to supporting our community.

Thank you for being part of VEAP’s mission to increase access to healthy food! 🙌

VEAP is partnering with the City of Richfield, Minnesota - Local Government to help shape the 2050 Comprehensive Plan. Over the next year, the City is looking at how Richfield has changed, thinking about what’s ahead, and working together to identify the priorities that will make our community a great place to live for years to come. We’re hoping to hear from you and others in the community.

A huge thank you to KWS Seeds for purchasing, assembling, and donating 500 birthday bags to VEAP’s pantry last week!

These special bags are available to families with a child aged 12 or younger who has a birthday that month. Each one helps bring a little extra joy and celebration to a family’s special day. 🎂🎈

We’re so grateful to KWS Seeds for helping more kids in our community feel celebrated on their birthday!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 💚
From September 15 through October 15, VEAP is celebrating the rich history and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

At VEAP, these communities are an important part of who we are. 1 in 3 people who visit VEAP identify as Latino, bringing a diversity of cultures, traditions, languages, and experiences that enrich our community every day.

This month, we’re proud to honor and celebrate the many ways Hispanic and Latino communities have shaped—and continue to shape—our shared community.

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana! 💚
