We are proud to share that Mrs. Isaacson, one of our 4th grade teachers, was recognized last night at the Community Summit with an Unsung Hero Award.

This honor reflects the dedication, care, and positive impact she brings to our students and school community every single day. While much of her work happens quietly behind the scenes, the difference she makes is felt in classrooms, in relationships, and in the growth of every student they support.

Hello Viking families!

We are very excited to announce the results of the Yearbook Cover Contest for 2025 - 2026! After reviewing numerous creative entries from all of our talented students, we are proud to share that the winner is 5th grader Kamille C. from Ms. Schelbert’s class!

Kamille´s entry was voted to be featured on the cover of our upcoming yearbook by all of our students. We are so proud of every student who participated; each entry showcased incredible imagination and wonderful effort! It was very difficult to choose just one for our cover!

These were the rest of our Top 10 Contestants! Their entries will be featured on the back of the yearbook!

All submissions can be viewed outside the BLE Library.

Thank you for encouraging your students to express their creativity and take part in this special tradition. We can’t wait for everyone to see the finished yearbook!

Yearbooks are now on sale for BLE students. They are $15 and purchased directly at the vendor site. Each 5th grader will receive a yearbook as a gift from our PTA. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.

The QR code on this flyer allows you to pay for a yearbook for your student(s).
