๐จ๐ซ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ!
The spring 2026 funding round received ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ requesting more than $๐๐๐,๐๐๐ in support. Because of remaining funds in the Community Builders account from the previous year, the BCDC Board increased this round from the programโs ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ $๐๐,๐๐๐ award amount to $๐๐,๐๐๐, allowing more local projects to receive funding.
Since Play It Forward launched in the winter of 2024, BCDC has awarded $225,000 in grants to organizations and projects serving Bowman County. The program was created to reinvest charitable gaming dollars directly into local needs through a simple application process and community-based review.
This round of Play It Forward funding supported 14 projects throughout Bowman County.

๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐-๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ received $2,000 for a backdrop banner to support youth programming, events, and activities.
๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ ๐-๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ received $3,840 for youth program supplies that support hands-on learning, leadership, and youth development.

๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง received $5,000 for a movable shade structure that can be used during fairgrounds activities and other community events.
๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ received $5,000 for shooting targets to support safe recreational and educational use.
๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ฒ received $9,000 for new carpet, improving a public space used by residents of all ages.
๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง received $10,000 for benches and picnic tables at the Kiddie Park on the west side of Bowman, improving the park for families and community members.
๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ง received $6,000 for a digital sign to improve communication and public information sharing with residents and visitors.
๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐จ๐๐ซ๐ received $10,000 for a storage building to support food access and community assistance efforts.
๐๐๐ค๐จ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ received $3,380 for stage and production support for the annual car show, a community event that brings residents and visitors together.
๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ & ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ received $800 for riding helmets to support participant safety in its equine-assisted programming.
๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ received $6,000 for virtual career technology to expand student access to career exploration and learning opportunities.
๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฌ received $1,480 to support youth bowling scholarships and help reduce participation costs for local youth in a community-focused bowling program.
๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ received $10,000 to remodel a therapy kitchen used by patients during rehabilitation, helping them practice daily living skills in a safe, functional setting as part of their therapy care.
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ received $2,500 for a signage mural to improve visibility and awareness of the services it provides to individuals and families in need.
