🛑Stop in at your local NRCS office to ask them about the programs that they have available!

👉We encourage you stop in before September 18th to be considered for funding in 2027!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) continues to put Farmers First through a historic investment in conservation on agricultural lands through USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) as a result of the conservation funding provided by the Working Families Tax Cuts Act.

💥The deadline will be here before we know it, and you don’t want to miss out on our cool photo monitoring kits!!

Lunch will also be provided!

👉The kits will include a sign and expo marker so you can take with to photograph conditions in your pasture. As well as a a measuring stick and other materials we feel you guys might like!

This will be a year you don’t want to miss!

We hope to see you in Rhame on June 18th!

It is unfortunately looking like it might be a dry year….
👉With that said, it is important to keep our drought monitor current and accurate with what our conditions are.
⬇️You can use the link provided by NDSU to help monitor the drought.
This reporting tool is used to determine if disaster programs are needed!

Anyone can help report drought conditions in their area! At the Extension office, we submit reports every Monday morning, and photos are one of the best ways to show what conditions really look like on the ground.

If you’d rather not submit a report yourself, feel free to send your drought photos to Penny at [email protected] and we can help share the information.
