Knowing how to help isn’t always easy. Sometimes we’re not sure what to say, how to listen, or where to turn for support.

The Brea Resource Center offers short-term, affordable, and confidential counseling services for individuals and families. Whether you’re managing stress, navigating a difficult time, or simply need someone to talk to, support is available.

Supporting someone you love through a mental health challenge can be difficult. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Join us for a free NAMI Knowledge Forum, presented in partnership with the Brea Resource Center, for an honest and practical conversation about how to better support a loved one who may be struggling with a mental health condition.

Special guest Dave Dicken, Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line and Director of Family and Alumni Support at Rockside Ranch, will share insight on:

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also come with stress, uncertainty and moments when you may feel overwhelmed.

If you’re a caregiver, remember to care for yourself, too. Asking for help, taking a break and connecting with others who understand can make a difference.

Our Caregiver Support Group meets every fourth Monday at the Brea Community Center and provides a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and find support.

Don’t miss AAA’s FREE Dare to Prepare! workshop on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Brea Community Center.

Designed for pre-permit teens and their parents, this workshop covers important topics to help families prepare for the responsibilities of driving, including licensing, safety, choosing a vehicle and the parent’s role in the learning process.

Join us for AAA's FREE Dare to Prepare! workshop for pre-permit teens and their parents.

This informative workshop will help families prepare for the road ahead by covering topics such as:
• Graduated Driver Licensing
• Risks and responsibilities of new drivers
• The parent's role in the learning process
• Choosing a safe vehicle and driving school
