Strasburg Hometown Days are a great reminder of what makes Adams County so special. Good people, strong values, and neighbors who care about one another.

It was wonderful seeing families enjoying the parade and all festivities that were happening, supporting local businesses, and celebrating this great community together.

We enjoyed walking in the parade & handing out candy to everyone, talking to the community and hearing what is important to you.

What a fantastic week at the 2026 Adams County Fair! 🎡

One of the best parts of campaigning is meeting so many incredible people from across Adams County. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared your thoughts, asked questions, and showed your support. Those conversations mean a great deal to me.

A few highlights from the week:
⭐ Visiting with Mrs. Brighton at the fair
⭐️Celebrating Senior Day and honoring the generations who have helped build our community
⭐️ Saturday night’s outstanding concert featuring Cooper Alan, Dylan Marlowe, and Austin Snell
⭐️ Closing out the fair with an unforgettable performance by The Delfonics

Thank you for making this year’s fair so memorable. I’m grateful for the opportunity to earn your trust and your support to be re-elected as your next Adams County Sheriff.

Fair was great this year! It was HOT! HOT! HOT!

Final evening at the Adams County Fair is all about tradition! Sheriff Claps rode out as part of the opening ceremony of the Charreada rodeo. Thank you to everyone who came this afternoon to enjoy the show!

As we head into another busy weekend and as the temperatures rise again, take a few minutes to check on your elderly neighbors, family and friends. Offer to pick up groceries or medications so they don't have to be out in the heat. Don't forget to check on all our furry animals, they are just as important.

Strong Communities take care of each other. Looking out for those in our community is one of the simplest and most important things we can do.

Stay safe, stay cool and continue making Adams County a great place to live.
