We believe every person deserves access to high-quality healthcare, support services, and opportunities to thrive, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, identity, or gender expression.

As we recognize Pride Month, we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community while strengthening our commitment to inclusive, affirming care and creating environments where all individuals feel seen, respected and supported.

Exciting news to share! After 13 years at the helm of Health Imperatives, Julia Kehoe has announced she’s concluding her tenure as CEO. Today, the Board of Directors has announced that Stephanie Brown, CEO of Casa Myrna, will lead the organization beginning September 14th. Women’s Health Week (and month) remind us that access to care changes lives.

Health Imperatives is proud to support women across Southeastern Massachusetts and the Cape & Islands by providing sexual and reproductive healthcare, survivor services, nutrition, support, housing, assistance, and more.

As a 2025 recipient of a $2.5 million grant through Global Action for Women’s Health, we are able to expand critical services for women who need them most.
