An initiative of and managed by the Kenmorelionsclub, the incredible Pop-up Eye Clinics, which appear now 4 times per year throughout WNY, remind us all of the incredible need of sight services there is for those that can’t afford the ability too see.

Mark the date. The next one is on Saturday, September 19 and it is 1st come, 1st served.

Remembering Dolly.

🕊️ REMEMBERING MELVIN JONES FELLOW DOLLY PARTON 🕊️

The world has lost far more than a legendary entertainer. We have lost a remarkable humanitarian whose kindness, generosity and joyful spirit lifted millions of people around the world.

Dolly Parton shared the Lions’ belief that compassion must be put into action. Through her lifelong support of literacy, education, children and families in need, she gave people something greater than hope—she gave them opportunities to build better lives.

Dolly was recognized as a Melvin Jones Fellow, one of the most meaningful honors presented through Lions Clubs International Foundation. Named for the founder of Lions Clubs, the fellowship recognizes an extraordinary contribution to humanity and a deep commitment to compassionate service.

Her music will live forever, but so will the countless lives made brighter because she cared.

Dolly once said, “If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” She gave the world her smile, her heart and a lifetime of service.

Dolly Parton’s light will never fade, and her positive impact on humanity will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Dolly.
We will always love you. ❤️🦁

Lions serve …. hotdogs. They also serve over 45+ local communities that WNY Lions members live and work.

Our Olcott Lions Club do a wonderful event that we think every local community Lions Club across NYS should do as a service project.
