Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Payments must be postmarked by June 15th to avoid accruing interest. Non-Escrowed Taxpayers now have a new payment option available. You can divide your annual property tax bill into manageable monthly payments. The Kit Carson County Treasurer’s Office has partnered with Equapay.com (formerly EscrowTaxes), a secure platform that allows taxpayers to manage and pay property taxes through automated monthly payments.

We encourage you to take advantage of this convenient service. To get started, visit equapay.com, search for Kit Carson County, enter your account number listed on your tax statement, and click "Find My Bill."

For mail-in payments, please ensure they are postmarked by April 30th. Walk-in payments are accepted in person, or you may place your payment in the "Elections box" located in front of the courthouse. Additionally, payments can be made online at: https://enoticesonline.com/kcc
