Fresh from the garden to the lunch line! 🌱🥕 Students at Allen Frear Elementary harvested lettuce, carrots, and radishes from their school garden, and our Child Nutrition team turned the fresh produce into delicious side salads for students to enjoy. The talented cooks at Caesar Rodney School District prepared delicious Haitian macaroni and cheese in celebration of Haitian Flag Day! This student-inspired dish is made with pasta, ground beef, spices, veggies, and lots of cheese!

We are proud to honor and celebrate the cultures represented throughout our schools by sharing meaningful traditions through food. Thank you to our amazing Child Nutrition team for bringing this special dish to life for our students!
