The Van Zandt County Republican Party CEC is accepting online applications for Precinct Chair Openings for the following Voting Precincts: 1A, 1D, 1E, 3C, and 3D.

If you live in any of these precincts and are interested in serving and making a difference, we encourage you to apply. You can either scan the QR code or click on the following link to apply online:

Tuesday, our friend Steve, beloved of Deanna Goode died in a plane crash near his home. We are grieving with Deanna and her family as the go thru this time.

His funeral is planned for Saturday, July 18, 2:00 pm at Stone Point Church in Wills Point (17588 FM 47 South).

It with deepest sadness that we mourn the loss of our fellow Republican women and friend Lee Shults.
Prayers for her family as they grieve.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Edom Methodist Church.
