The City extends its sincere gratitude to the dedicated crews who continue to clear storm debris and restore our community following Wednesday’s severe weather. These crews have been working long, overnight hours to remove debris, clear roadways, restore power, and help make our neighborhoods safe again. Extreme heat warnings have many of us hiding indoors and in pools, yet they persist performing hard labor and technical work under challenging conditions.
We are also grateful for the support from the community for this team. We hope everyone will consider a moment to reflect on the sacrifices they are making to respond to emergencies at all hours, and to do the hard work in any condition. It is an essential service they are providing to our residents that makes all other services and daily life possible. As always, we are also grateful for public safety and everyone else showing up to serve community.
Finally, please remain mindful of weather, and stay tuned to alerts.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone working hard out in this heat! ☀️
We truly appreciate the patience and understanding you’ve shown while our crews work to clean up from the recent storm in these hot-weather conditions. And an extra special thank you to the kind people and local businesses who have helped keep our workers going by providing cold water, treats, and even discounts. The Insomnia Cookies and Rally's food is very appreciated.💙
Those thoughtful gestures mean more than you know and help make a tough day a little easier. We’re grateful for our hardworking team and for a community that looks out for them!
Stay cool, stay safe, and we thank you for your support!
