This week we are joining Board & Brush Cape Girardeau, MO and Buckner-Ragsdale Event Center for our DIY for a cause event! Registration closes Wednesday at 5pm for this fun first time event. For every registration for one of our projects the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation receives a portion of the proceeds. Grab a friend and have fun while supporting our Veterans!

Our Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation is looking for golfers and sponsors for the 29th Annual Veterans Home Golf Tournament on Friday, September 11th at Bent Creek Golf Course. Enjoy a round of golf, lunch, beverages, snacks and prizes all while supporting the Veterans in our home!

Yesterday we celebrated a milestone! Becky Hoover dementia unit CNA and restorative aid retired after 31 years at the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home. How is this possible you ask when she is so young? Well she started here just shy of her 18th birthday and due to her dedication and loyalty the rest is history. Becky has a sincere and loving heart and has cared for countless Veterans throughout the years, becoming a part of their family as well as an integral part of ours. Thank you Becky for your 31 years of dedication to our Veterans, you are irreplaceable and will be missed.
