A big apology from Ms. Tabitha to the Ladies Auxiliary — last week’s thank‑you post didn’t publish, and I didn’t catch it 💛🙏

We are always so grateful when these wonderful ladies visit. They read “The Little Red Flower” and shared the meaning of the red poppy and its connection to honoring military service ❤️🌺🇺🇸

They brought flower pots for the kiddos to decorate for Mother’s Day 🌸💐 and handed out Memorial Day gift bags the kids loved 🇺🇸🎁

After their visit, the kids made a second library craft — a sweet flower arrangement with a Mother’s Day sign 🌼✨

We’re truly thankful for the Ladies Auxiliary and all they do for our kiddos. They’re always such a treat when they come 💛🌺

A big thank you to Mayor “Doc” for joining us at Storytime today! He read Charlie the Caterpillar — such a sweet reminder to be kind and not judge others by how they look 🐛💛.

After showing the kids how a caterpillar “transforms” into a butterfly, he popped it on his head like a hat — instant giggles and attention 🦋😂. He also brought a friendly bear puppet that gave the kiddos a hug 🤗🐻.

After the story, the kids made their own beautiful butterflies using coffee filters they colored, sprayed with water to blend the colors, and twisted with pipe cleaners 🎨🦋✨

Our SILENT AUCTION is still going on and ends this Thursday . We will then contact the top bidder by telephone, and would like items picked up that evening or Friday 10a-5p. There are over 100 items you can bid on-line or stop by the library and check out and bid in person. There are HANDMADE items that would make lovely gifts that are still at LOW bids. Please think of the hours that people have put into making these items and donating to us. ALL proceeds go to the Library. Thank you!💚
