Carver we have something to be so proud of! We donated 442.5 pounds of food and supplies and had $124 in monetary donations!

While we didn’t win this year, we couldn’t be more proud to represent City of Carver - Minnesota, Government! Thank you to our amazing community for coming together!

We’re excited to see everyone out at neighborhood Night to Unite celebration and, of course, show off our fire trucks!

COMMUNITY ALERT!

The Carver Fire Department will be conducting training at the property west of Monroe Drive, highlighted in the map below.

Tonight marks our first training session at this location, with a few additional training dates planned in the coming weeks. During these exercises, you may notice simulated smoke, multiple fire apparatus, and a large number of firefighters in the area.

This is a planned training event, and there is no cause for concern. We are grateful for the opportunity to use these buildings for valuable hands-on training before they are demolished.

Carver residents, you asked, and we’ve got the answers! Donations are now being accepted at Carver City Hall!

Bountiful Basket Food Shelf has also provided a helpful guide with the donation rules, their most-needed items, and we’ve included the link below to Carver’s online monetary donation page.

Every donation helps support local families while earning points in the friendly Night to Unite Food Shelf Challenge.

Challenge accepted The Chaska Fire Department! Carver Fire is ready to defend the title and keep the trophy right where it belongs. City of Carver Mayor Courtney Johnson made sure it looked its best for today’s video too!

Don’t forget to register your Night to Unite event!

We’ll be out and about and can’t wait to see as many of you as possible. We’re hoping for a sunny evening… but if Mother Nature could keep it below “firefighter in full gear” temperatures, we certainly wouldn’t complain.

Join your neighbors on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, for Night to Unite—an evening of community, connection, and fun! As the Carver Fire Department visits registered events, they'll once again be collecting nonperishable food donations for Bountiful Basket. Last year, Carver took home the title in the friendly food drive competition against Chaska and Chanhassen.

The Carver Fire Department and Carver County Sheriff's Office will do their best to visit every registered event. Please note that emergency personnel remain on call, so visit times will vary and emergency calls may prevent them from attending every event.

Good morning Carver! I'm sure most of you have noticed a thick layer of smoke has settled over Carver. Besides the haze, it has also brought with it some of the worst air quality readings we have ever observed. This goes beyond being bad for people with respiratory concerns (like asthma or COPD), but is unhealthy for EVERYONE! Consider cutting back considerably on your time outdoors today. This smoke looks to remain pretty thick through most of the day, with some improvements to the air quality coming towards the end of the day.
