Multiple car crashes are being reported due to traffic lights being covered by snow. Crews are actively working to address this issue. Please remember, in the absence of working traffic lights, intersections should be treated as a four way stop. Please drive with extra caution today as road conditions are rapidly changing.

At the Natrona County Sheriff's Office Annual Awards Ceremony, Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Cavalier was awarded a Lifesaving Award and Meritorious Award, and Emergency Management Volunteer Curt O'Halloran was named Volunteer of the Year.

Wildland Fire - Cole Creek Road

Emergency personnel are working a Wildland fire in the area of Sandpiper Road (Cole Creek Road). This is an evolving incident. More information to come soon. Avoid the area and let responders work.

Update 6:55 PM-

Cole Creek Road has fully reopened. The fire remains active, and has reached Converse County. Fire personnel remain on scene. Additional fire information will be shared by the Natrona County Fire District once it becomes available. We appreciate the publics cooperation and patience during this incident.

Update at 5:50 PM-

Cole Creek Road is opening up to Blue Rock Road.

⚠️Sandpiper Street to the east remains closed with active fire threat in the immediate area.
Update at 6:51 PM-

Cole Creek Road is fully reopened. The fire is still active, it has reached Converse County. More information on the fire will come from the Natrona County Fire District once it becomes available. We appreciate the public's cooperation and patience during this incident.

Update at 4:55 PM-

Personnel are opening Cole Creek Road up to Country Road to allow access for area residents. Winds are in excess of 35+ MPH and changing directions frequently. The fire is still burning. Hot spots are flaring up and firefighters are still working to knockdown. Please continue to be vigilant and monitor local official communications.

Notifications and evacuation advisements for residents on South Park are being made.

Notifications and evacuation advisements for residents on Castle Stone Drive, Stonewood Street, and Ridgeview Road are being made.

Cole Creek Road is currently closed at Santa Fe Circle.

Deputies and Fire-EMS units are on scene of an active wildland fire in the area of Sandpiper Street off of Cole Creek Road. Deputies are contacting residents door to door on Sandpiper advising evacuations. This post will be updated as more information becomes available.

Grayson was found unharmed inside a nearby unlocked and unoccupied home. He has been safely reunited with his parents. We sincerely appreciate the help from the public.

The Casper Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing child.

Four-year-old Grayson Muckley was last seen at on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 between 9:55am and 10:10am at his residence in the 700 block of West 55th Street in Casper. It is believed Grayson left the residence undetected.

Grayson is non-verbal and autistic. He is not fearful of people and may respond to his name.

At the time he was last seen, Grayson was wearing a gray and orange sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black 'Hey Dude' shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Grayson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Casper Police Department as soon as possible at 307-235-8278 or by calling 911.

Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming by calling 307-577-8477 or by visiting crimestopperscasper.org.
