Everyone at the EFRC is safe from the storms last night. We had prepared for it during the day with a total lock down of our animals to keep them safe while the storm rolled through. The Center is all good and so are all of our animals.

Last night was such a blast!
Our first Evening Roar of 2026 was filled with fun, food, and plenty of animals. Guests got to meet our new grizzly bears, see our many wolves, cool down with refreshing drinks, fill up on homemade pasta, and bid on some great items!

The animal world lost an amazing person this week. Ann Hedderick was a long time volunteer, board member, and all around animal lover. She dedicated so much time to the animals at the EFRC, educating anyone who would listen, setting up events, and training new volunteers. She will be so very missed by the many animals and people she touched.
